Joanna McCreight-Goldin, PT – Owner and Physical Therapist
Joanna is the owner of Sport and Spine Physical Therapy. She graduated from Physical Therapy school in London, England in 1983. Since that time, she has specialized in the treatment of orthopedic patients. She has worked in England and Australia and has been in Denver since 1992. Joanna also lectures to other physical therapists in both the US and England. She has been a guest lecturer at conferences of the American Physical Therapy Association. In 2007, Joanna accepted a position with the Sony Ericsson WTA women's professional tennis tour as a Physical Therapist and is traveling around the world to different WTA events. Joanna loves to play tennis, travel, ski, and spend time with her family.

Michelle Landow, MSPT – Physical Therapist
Michelle graduated from Regis University with a Masters in Physical Therapy. She has a background in treatment of the spine and extremities utilizing manual therapy techniques. Michelle has an interest in spinal stabilization, rehabilitation from sports injuries and aquatic therapy. She is an assistant instructor for Manual Therapy Seminars of Colorado and is currently working toward her certification in Manual Manipulative Therapy. Michelle received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Bachelor of Arts in Gerontology with an emphasis in Psychology at the University of Northern Colorado. She has a strong interest in developing exercise programs around physical activity and aging.

Aimee Feldhake, MSPT – Physical Therapist
Aimee graduated from Regis University in Denver with a Masters in Physical Therapy. She has a strong orthopedic manual therapy background including a year-long training program in spinal manipulation. In addition to treating patients, she has been an assistant instructor for Manual Therapy Seminars of Colorado, training other therapists in manual therapy techniques. She has also assisted Mark Comerford, one of the world’s leading experts in muscle imbalance, in educating other physical therapists in diagnosis and treatment of specific muscle dysfunctions. During her free time Aimee loves to be outdoors. She enjoys hiking, backpacking, skiing and spending time with her husband, son and their crazy dog Wrigley.

Keri Maywhort, MPT - Physical Therapist
Keri received her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 1998 from Mount Saint Mary’s College in Los Angeles. Specializing in manual therapy for spine dysfunctions she has experience working with a myriad of soft tissue and joint dysfunctions responsible for neck and back pain and headaches as well as shoulder and knee injuries. She has also worked as an assistant instructor with Manual Therapy Seminars in the United States and England teaching physical therapists and other health care practitioners techniques for assessment and management of spine problems and other musculoskeletal dysfunctions. She has also utilized diagnostic ultrasound imaging for treatment of segmental lumbar spine and cervical spine stabilization. As a native of Colorado she enjoys all that the mountains have to offer including skiing, hiking and mountain biking.

Michelle Piper, MPT, CSCS - Physical Therapist
Michelle received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercises and Sport Science with an emphasis in Sports Medicine from Colorado State University . After graduation, she received an Applied Associate’s degree as a physical therapist’s assistant and practiced as a PTA for a year before returning to school. She received her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from University of Nebraska in 2003. Her specialties include orthopedic injuries, post surgical rehabilitation, spinal dysfunctions and sports related injuries. She has continued her education focusing on manual therapy and neurological muscle activation techniques. In her free time, Michelle enjoys mountain biking, running, skiing, reading and hiking.

Robbin Delva, PT – Pilates Instructor and Physical Therapist
Robbin has been practicing physical therapy for 25 years. She graduated from the University of Colorado Physical Therapy program in 1979. Her original career was in neurological rehabilitation at Craig Hospital. She worked with traumatic head injury patients as well as spinal cord patients. She then practiced home health physical therapy with senior citizens helping them maximize their potential for functional and recreational activities. After receiving training in the Polestar Rehabilitation method of Pilates, Robbin joined Sport and Spine in March 2000 and supervises the Pilates program. Robbin has extensive training in manual therapy and specializes in the use of manual therapy combined with Pilates to rehabilitate patients. She enjoys water-skiing, downhill & cross-country skiing, inline skating, yoga and reading.

Michéle Forster, PT – Pilates Instructor and Physical Therapist
Michéle earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in New York. She moved from Ithaca in 1990 to southern California where she practiced Physical Therapy for 5 years at an out patient orthopedic practice. On moving to Colorado, she expanded her manual therapy techniques under the guidance of her then supervisor, Joanna McCreight. Currently, Michéle has been focusing on combining Pilates through Physical Mind. Her own interests include tennis, climbing, and hiking with her dog Taos.

Alice Davis, DPT– Pilates Instructor and Physical Therapist
Alice received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University in Denver and Masters of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She has worked in diverse rehabilitation settings and has a strong background in geriatrics as well as working with individuals who have chronic diseases. She is a certified Practitioner of Pilates Rehabilitation through Polestar education. She is the Professional Development Committee Chairperson for the Colorado Chapter APTA and was a recipient of the Colorado APTA’s 2004 Bob Doctor Service Award. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and participating in outdoor sports and wellness activities.

Mary Banerjee – Pilates Instructor
Mary is trained in the Polestar method of Pilates and is on her sixth year of studying classical Pilates. She is a believer in continuing education, attends physical therapy seminars and studies other movement therapies. Mary has a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Rochester and worked as a molecular biologist for 15 years. She discovered Pilates after a shoulder injury sent her searching for a method of exercise that could isolate and strengthen individual muscles without stress to the joints. Mary enjoys collaborating with the physical therapists to create individualized exercise programs that help each client achieve the highest level of function and fitness possible.

Mary Sundland, RN, CES - Cancer and Medical Fitness Specialist
Mary is a Registered Nurse with 16 years of experience in intensive care to which she has added a B.A. in Exercise Science from Metropolitan State College in Denver. She has a post-rehabilitation specialist certification from the American Academy of Health and Fitness Professionals. In 2001, she received a Cancer and Exercise Specialist certification through the Rocky Mountain Cancer Rehabilitation Institute at the University of Northern Colorado. Before starting the "Moving Through Cancer" program at Sport and Spine, she worked at the Cancer FitSpa where along with oncologists and plastic surgeons they developed protocols for the safe and effective care of cancer patients. She will split her time between the Dry Creek, Inverness and Ken Caryl locations. Mary enjoys reading, playing tennis and traveling. She especially enjoys road biking and participates in the Triple Bypass.

Cinthia Cable, NCMT – Massage Therapist
Cinthia is the owner of The Well Being. She graduated in 1998 from a 1,051 hour integrative massage program at The Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado. She then completed four years of training at the Barbara Brennen School of Healing. She is also a certified Tui Na (Chinese medical massage) therapist and has attended nine manual therapy courses which enable her to work effectively with physical therapists to implement efficient results for her clients. Cinthia believes the most effective approach to healing is a comprehensive approach encompassing not only the physical but the emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of the individual. She loves to learn and finds joy in reading, movies, biking, nature, her animals and sharing intimate conversation with close friends.

Luise Willson, CMT – Massage Therapist
Luise received her massage certification from the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado. She specializes in Traditional Thailand massage and myofascial release. She is also involved in continuing education on a regular basis in a variety of other modalities. Luise has a background in both spa and medical settings, including time at the Headache Clinic of Denver. With Sport and Spine Physical Therapy since 2001, Luise works with physical therapists and Pilates instructors to create soft tissue treatments specific to each patient’s needs. She enjoys literature, music, yoga, weight lifting and spending time with her son.

Alan Schlechten, PT – Physical Therapist
Alan attended the School of Physiotherapy at the University of Australia in Sydney. He holds certificates in joint manipulation and trigger point dry needling. He received his undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine from Colorado State University and has 10 years experience in sports-specific and rehabilitative personal training. As a continuing education provider to personal trainers, Alan lectures on program design, functional anatomy and biomechanics. He specializes in athlete rehabilitation and athletic enhancement through the use of manual therapy, muscle imbalance re-education and performance conditioning. Alan enjoys downhill skiing, mountain biking, surfing and Australian Rules football.

Shawna Jamison, MPT – Physical Therapist
Shawna completed her Master of Physical Therapy at Northwestern University in Chicago in 1995. With a background in sports rehabilitation and manual therapy, Shawna specializes in treatment of spine and sport injuries, including biomechanical evaluation and orthotics evaluation and prescription. She is currently moving toward a certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy. Shawna enjoys weight lifting, and trips to Lake Powell with her husband and four children.

Edo Zylstra, MSPT – Co-Owner and Physical Therapist
Edo received his Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2001. Since then has been focusing on chronic musculoskeletal pain and whiplash. While expanding his manual therapy skills he specialized in the Travell and Gunn dry needling of neuromuscular and dysfunctional points in the body and continues to advance his education in this type of treatment. He has a special interest in orthopedics, spine and manipulative manual therapy. In his free time Edo enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children. He also enjoys racquet sports, golf and water sports.
